I had plans for my June vacation to go on a dirt bike trip to Georgia, but alas plans fell through. I decided to go check out the East Coast of Canada. This trip was all about relaxation, camping and hiking.
I stayed first at the Sugarloaf Provinicial Park. It was a very nice and clean park. Lots of nice hiking trails (multi-use).
I had a visit from a very friendly park employee who gave me a bottle of homemade pear wine. :)
I then drove to Kouchibougac National Park - Wow! This park had it all
and I was there during off peak, so had the park to myself. Absolutely
great hiking trails and beautiful scenery.
On the drive home, I decided to cut my drive by stopping at Captain Homard in Ste-Flavie, Quebec. I am so glad I did. The food was delicious. Tenting in such a busy spot was not great though, but c"est la vie!
