Road Trip 2018 - June - New Brunswick

I had plans for my June vacation to go on a dirt bike trip to Georgia, but alas plans fell through.  I decided to go check out the East Coast of Canada.  This trip was all about relaxation, camping and hiking.

I stayed first at the Sugarloaf Provinicial Park.  It was a very nice and clean park.  Lots of nice hiking trails (multi-use).

I had a visit from a very friendly park employee who gave me a bottle of homemade pear wine. :)
I then drove to Kouchibougac National Park - Wow!  This park had it all and I was there during off peak, so had the park to myself.  Absolutely great hiking trails and beautiful scenery.

On the drive home, I decided to cut my drive by stopping at Captain Homard in Ste-Flavie, Quebec.  I am so glad I did.  The food was delicious.  Tenting in such a busy spot was not great though, but c"est la vie!

April 2018 - Killington Mountain, Vermont

I just couldn't get enough of skiing in 2018.  It was just too good.  So, decided to go check out Killington Mountain in Vermont.

I had a really really good time.  Conditions were really good and I did a little shopping - Black Crows skis were being demoed and I tried them - fell in love and had to get a pair.  Absolutely great skis, so great my ski group each got a pair!  Check em out here : https://www.black-crows.com

Road Trip 2018 - March - Kickinghorse and Revelstoke BC

Because I got the ski bug big time after Mammoth, I decided to go check out Kickinghorse and Revelstoke, BC.  Wow!

Flew to Calgary and rented a car to drive to Golden, BC and Kickinghorse Mountain.  This mountain was so much fun, I loved all the trails.  Very challenging if you want it to be.

Then drove to Revelstoke.  What a gorgeous drive through the Canadian Rockies.  We got stranded on Highway 1 for about 3 hours during avalanche maintenance and I got to meet this little cutie.

Revelstoke was beautiful, but the weather did not cooperate.  It was rainy and foggy and the runs were pretty slushy.

Road Trip 2018 - February - Las Vegas and Mammoth Mountain, California

I got the brilliant idea to Fly to Vegas, rent a car and drive to Mammoth Mountain to ski, and what a great idea it was!

The drive from Vegas to Mammoth was spectacular.  What a beautiful part of the world.  I drove from desert to lush green forest to winter wonderland.

Super fun, twisty, tight roads - I wished I had my motorcycle!

And then finally, Mammoth Mountain.

And then a drive though Death Valley on my way back to Las Vegas.

Vegas Again..

and then Red Rock Canyon.
