This trip was fantastic and humbling at the same time. I do not think I fathomed what poverty was. Haiti is truly a beautiful country is peril.
The drive out of Port-au-Prince was enough for me to decide not to take any excursion off-resort, which is not the norm for me. Safety first.
The resort itself was beautiful, the food was delicious and the ocean, well the ocean was the best part of this trip. I just couldn't get enough of it.
