Adventure 2017 - Spain, MotoGP, November

James and I attended the Final MotoGP race of 2017 in Valencia Spain.  What an exciting race (and for me so special as I finally got to see Valentino Rossi race!).  I put on my Marc Marquez T-shirt, and Rossi hat and sunglasses to show my support, and was super thrilled when Marquez won the championship.

We were able to go into the pit box of the Aprillia team for a visit - it was so exciting!

While in Valencia we visited the Oceanografic and the Science Museum, and the zoo on our last day.  My favorite was the zoo as it had no visible cages or enclosures, everything looked so very natural.  This is a beautiful zoo.

Adventure 2017 - Barbardos October

In between MotoGP races, I got to go to the beautiful island of Barbados.  What a wonderful people are the Barjans!  Lots to explore and some pretty cool snorkling.

I stayed mostly at at resort, only going out to eat twice at a local renowned restaurant (not so great) and then at the Oistin's Fish Fry which was excellent.

Barbados is a beautiful country and its people were absolutely amazing.  Their history is so rich and exciting - go check it out for yourself!
