Colin Snider 4-Hour Hare Scramble
October 21, 2007
This was a 4-hour Ironman (nuts), 2-man, 3-man and 4-man team event hosted by the Bytown Motorcycle Association. It was a beautiful fall day with mild weather, a light breeze, and a warm and welcoming sunshine after all that rain. We arrived in Perth in time to have our 2-man team (Chris and Andrew) register and go for a sighting lap. This was a lap hard enough to discourage most people, but the guys persisted and completed the full four hours with seven laps. They certainly were still able to smile and joke at the end of it, so all in all, it was a difficult event, but well worth the effort.
